Core System Updates
Our July 2019 release included some great new features and fixes for all modules as well as our core system. As mentioned before, we are constantly working towards a more consistent user interface across all modules, which includes the standardization of the Job Master screen in this release. Below are some core updates to our system as well as updates to each individual module.
- Job Master Landing - Standardization of data display and filters across all modules.
- PDF Viewer - Removal of the integrated PDF viewer and re-write to use all modern browsers so it is consistent across each of those.
- Employee Detail Notes - Migration of the old Employee notes textbox that was on the old employee detail screen into the new notes section on the Activity tab of the employee detail screen.
- Job Management Delete - Because we have standardized this screen, we were able to take care of some regression with the delete functionality at the same time. Two birds, one fix.
- Organization Chart - We have added an organization chart to all modules as a report in the Company section of each modules reporting area. The chart will be built off of the reporting structure of the 'Reports To' field on the job master detail screen.
- Learning Management System Integration - Added an integration between the PrismHR Talent Management platform and the Top Class LMS system by WBT Systems.
Applicant Tracking
Fixes:
- Fixed error with assigning passive candidates to a requisition where the resources would not come over with that candidate detail record, when candidate was created manually.
- Regression fix for EEO-1 report tally count for Race/Ethnicity.
- Fix for recruiter workflow tasks only showing top 10 items. Now showing all items created per category.
- Fix for when candidate is hired from the requisition, the onboarding plan (if setting is turned on), was not being created as intended.
- Ooops, we spelled the word 'Onboarding' incorrectly when a candidate is hired from the requisition detail screen and an onboarding plan is intended to be created. We have fired the one who can not spell.
- Fix for Job details and Job description not pulling on internal portal when existing employees apply to a new position.
Onboarding Management
Fixes:
- Fix for the workflow task comments not showing up on the plan overview in the workflow tab. This was regression from the move to the new UI. Now fixed.
Performance Management
Features:
- Reorder of User Interface:
- To simplify the appraisal screen, we have made some pretty major changes to where certain workflow steps can be found. In the past, the finalize appraisal, print reports, routing and signatures workflow of appraisals were found in the body of the appraisal. To simplify things, all workflow action items can now be found in an 'Options' button next to the workflow buttons for advancing or returning each step. See Figure 1.1
Figure 1.1 - New Options Button - When users are ready to print reports, finalize reviews, download calendar reminders or perform some other action, the 'Options' button is found in one place and can be used to access all of those functions. See Figure 1.2
Figure 1.2 - Options Button Action Items - By moving the 'Finalize' action into it's own dialog window, we can now do a validation check on each evaluation item before the appraisal gets Finalized or Compiled, to help head off any potential submission issues. See Figure 1.3

- Print Appraisal Notes Checkbox - Create option to allow users to decide if their appraisal notes will print on the final appraisal report or not. This option is for approval notes only.
- On the All Appraisals screen - A column was added for Appraisal Type field, to the data grid, as well as a corresponding filter that allows user to view only appraisals for certain types.
- Continuous coaching feedback page - We added the ability to share real time the notes that are being created to Supervisors and Employees depending on role of user.
Fixes:
- When creating an appraisal type with an Evaluation section active, the achievement levels should populate with some default values provided by the system. Those can be overridden.
- Fix for the Continuous Coaching Session Feedback color override.
- Fixed for the future goals not pulling into the next appraisal as it cycles over.
Employee Management
Features:
- Core Employee Detail Screen - The employee management module is now using the core employee detail screen, as to standardize across all of the modules. All new development enhancements to employee detail screens will now be implemented across all modules.
- Employee Notes - Are now handled in the activity log, to standardize across all modules.
